Junior Cricket Coaching Courses

Most Junior Cricket Clubs will provide cricket coaching for youngsters from aged 7 upwards at their club nights during the Summer and will usually have net practices set up for the team members over the Winter (usually after Christmas).

Additional individual and group cricket coaching can be obtained through the County Cricket Boards and specialist indoor cricket centres, which have been set up in most Counties. Your Cricket Club can advise on where specialist cricket coaching can be obtained. Many Counties have set up cricket courses for youngsters learning the game (from ages 6 to age 10). As youngsters progress there are options available in some areas for specialist bowling - e.g. spin bowling and seam bowling coaching sessions. Again local clubs will know more about what's available locally.

Many of these sessions will also feed into the selection process for Club and representative teams. Cricket cannot be played at a good level without quality cricket coaching on the basics of the game and improvement techniques.
