Junior Football in Surrey
Junior Football is very strong and well established in Surrey.
Some of the first small sided league football in the country was played
in Surrey in the early 1990s and as a result there are an excellent
choice of well organised football leagues fielding many teams
from Under 7 ages upwards.

The governing body of Junior Football in the county is the Surrey
Football Association. They have a comprehensive website which covers
all football in Surrey, which has an extensive junior section. The Surrey
County Cup is the most prestigous cup competion for 11 a side club football
as it brings together football teams from all of the competing Surrey
football leagues - see Surrey

The Surrey
Primary League pioneered small sided football in Surrey and
remains a strong and popular league for the younger age groups. Over
70 football teams now compete at Under 10 level and the league is becoming
much stronger at 11 a side from Under 11 upward. Below we list all the
football teams competing in the Surrey Primary League outside of Woking
and Guildford, which are covered seperately (see links above)
The Premier Elite divisions of the West
Surrey Youth League has traditionally been the strongest football
league in the county particularly at the older age groups. Other established
junior football leagues in Surrey have been the
Guildford and Shere League (sadly folded in 2007), the
Tandridge
League
and the Epsom
and Ewell League.
