Junior Golf in Guildford

The wider Guildford area is very well represented with Golf Clubs within easy reach.

For facilities for young juniors a visit to neighboroughing Woking area is most likely. For juniors starting out in the game the public Golf Courses of Hoebridge and Silvermere provide excellent driving ranges and good individual and group tuition. Hoebridge Golf Centre also has an excellent 18 hole Par 3 course (The Maybury) and a 9 hole intermediate course (The Shey Copse) which allows yound golfers to progress through to a full length course. Silvermere also has one of the largest golf shops in the area with a good junior section.

Once juniors are able to progress to a main course local clubs will welcome young juniors (usually from aged 11 upwards). Effingham Golf Club has a very active junior section. Bramley Golf Club, Clandon Regis Golf Club, Guildford Golf Club, Puttenham Golf Club and West Surrey Golf Club all accept junior golfers and run junior golf teams.
